Nick Powell completes Manchester United move?

Manchester United reportedly sign Crewe Alexandra midfielder Nick Powell for a fee in the region of £4m.

Manchester United have reportedly secured the services of Crewe Alexandra youngster Nick Powell.

Powell's form this season is believed to have captured the attention of numerous Premier League clubs.

However, it now appears that United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who made a personal check on the attacker's ability last month, has won the race to sign Powell.

The England youth international has agreed personal terms over a move to Old Trafford after the Red Devils had a £4m bid accepted for the 18-year-old last week, according to the Daily Mail.

Powell is regarded as one of England's brightest young talents.
