Preston North End are one of three clubs currently eyeing up a loan move for Manchester United youngster James Garner, according to a report.
The 18-year-old midfielder has travelled with the Red Devils for their trip to Partizan Belgrade on Thursday, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be considering sending the starlet out in January to get him some more experience.
According to The Sun, Wigan Athletic and League One side Sunderland are the other interested parties.
Garner is highly rated by many at United, with Solskjaer describing him earlier this year as the "next Michael Carrick".
A product of the club's academy, the midfielder has represented England at varying youth levels and he is under contract at Old Trafford until 2022.
