Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly prioritise summer moves for Napoli's Victor Osimhen and AC Milan's Rafael Leao over a swoop for Manchester United's Marcus Rashford.

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly not prioritise a summer move for Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford.

The Ligue 1 champions are understood to have drawn up a list of several attack-minded targets ahead of the 2024-25 campaign as they prepare for life without star man Kylian Mbappe.

Earlier this month, multiple reports emerged claiming that Mbappe has informed PSG of his desire to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old continues to represent PSG, who are still competing on three fronts this term, but he was surprisingly withdrawn midway through the second half of the Parisiens' 1-1 league draw with Rennes on Sunday at a time when Luis Enrique's side were losing.

Mbappe's replacement Goncalo Ramos eventually snatched a point for PSG with a 97th-minute equaliser, and after the game, Enrique admitted that the French giants must "get used to not playing with Kylian".

Amid uncertainty over the future of Mbappe, who has been tipped to join Real Madrid this summer, a host of attackers have been linked with a move to PSG, including England international Rashford.

A recent report claims that PSG have a long-standing interest in Rashford and have identified the 26-year-old as a leading target to replace Mbappe.

However, according to Football Insider, Rashford is not at the top of PSG's list of targets for the summer and they will instead prioritise moves for Napoli's Victor Osimhen and AC Milan's Rafael Leao.

Rashford enjoyed an impressive 2022-23 campaign in front of goal for Man United, scoring 30 goals and providing 11 assists from 56 appearances across all competitions.

However, the Red Devils academy product has struggled to show his best form this season and has faced criticism for his on and off the field behaviour, leading to speculation about his long-term future at Old Trafford.

It is understood that Man United's new minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe is keen to keep hold of Rashford, who has scored just five goals in 31 games this term and is under contract until June 2028.

Although Rashford is admired by PSG, they are keen to step up their pursuit of two of Europe's most in-demand forwards in the form of Osimhen and Leao, who have attracted interest from a number of English and Spanish clubs in recent months.

After scoring 26 goals in 32 Serie A appearances to win the Golden Boot and steer Napoli to Scudetto glory last season, Osimhen has since endured an injury-hit 2023-24 campaign which has also been disrupted by his spell away on Africa Cup of Nations duty with losing finalists Nigeria.

Osimhen has subsequently netted 10 goals in 20 games for Napoli in all tournaments this season, but that has not stopped the rumour mill from linking him with a big-money exit, with Chelsea and Arsenal believed to be at the front of the queue for his signature.

PSG and Real Madrid, however, are allegedly prepared to rival both Premier League clubs for Osimhen, who will leave Napoli this summer according to club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

As for Leao, who has recorded nine goals and eight assists in 32 matches for Milan this season, he has reportedly reached 'the end of a cycle' at San Siro and would be open to a departure this summer.

PSG could face competition from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Newcastle United for the signature of Leao, who is said to be valued at around €100m (£85.5m) by Milan.
