Stoke City's Tony Pulis refuses to sell "big players" in January

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis insists that none of his "big players" will leave the club next month but claims that a few new additions could arrive at the Britannia Stadium.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has claimed that all of his "big players" will not be sold in the January transfer window.

Most notably, goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has been at the centre of transfer speculation and has been linked with both Liverpool and Manchester United.

"We will be looking to bring one or two in but there will be no sales of any of the big players at this football club during the window," said Pulis.

Meanwhile, Stoke currently reside in ninth place in the Premier League table.
