Erling Braut Haaland's agent Mino Raiola has reportedly given Barcelona first refusal on the Borussia Dortmund striker.
The 21-year-old is not expected to be on the move in January, but an intense battle for his signature is set to commence in the summer transfer window.
Barcelona are believed to be one of several top European clubs looking to strike a deal for Haaland, but their long-standing financial difficulties could hinder a move.
However, Deportes Cuatro claims that Raiola has a pact with Barca president Joan Laporta to engineer a move to Camp Nou for the Norway international, if the Catalan club can raise the necessary funds.
The report adds that Raiola and Laporta enjoy a very close relationship, but the signing of Haaland - even with his reported £63m release clause - will still be 'very difficult' due to his salary demands.
Haaland - also linked with Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain - has already struck 19 goals in 16 games across all competitions for the Yellow and Black this term.
