Manchester United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick says that there could be outgoings at Old Trafford over the next week.

Manchester United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick has said that there could be outgoings at Old Trafford before the January transfer window closes for business.

Despite a host of speculation, the Red Devils are unlikely to bring in any new players this month, with the club preferring to wait until the end of the campaign to add to their squad.

However, the likes of Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Dean Henderson, Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford over the last few weeks.

Rangnick has confirmed that there are "some negotiations with clubs" regarding possible outgoings, with the Red Devils allegedly keen to trim their squad for the remainder of the season.

"I don't know. I know which players would want to leave. I know that there are some negotiations with clubs but I am not involved in that. I will probably be posted and made aware if something is happening. We will all have to wait and see what happens," Rangnick told reporters.

Man United returned to fourth position in the Premier League table on Saturday afternoon courtesy of a 1-0 victory over West Ham United at Old Trafford.
