Borussia Dortmund reportedly expect Real Madrid and Barcelona to eventually join the race to sign Jadon Sancho.
While the England international is currently being linked with a transfer to Manchester United, the two clubs remain far apart with regards to a fee.
Although there are still seven weeks remaining in the summer window, Dortmund have reiterated that they expect the winger to stay at the Westfalenstadion.
According to The Mirror, United could face extra competition for the 20-year-old if they do not meet Dortmund's £108m asking price in the near future.
The report suggests that Real and Barcelona may put themselves in a position to edge out United at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
Given the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, neither club can afford to sign Sancho during the current window.
