Real Madrid will reportedly have to shell out a sum of €180m (£161.9m) to complete the signing of Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.
Pogba, who rejoined United for £89m in 2016, told reporters last month that he wanted to experience a new challenge elsewhere - a notion since underscored by his agent Mino Raiola.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer responded to rumours of Pogba's potential exit by insisting that there were no bids for the Frenchman and making it clear that the club are not obliged to sell any of its players.
According to Marca, Real Madrid will need to produce a bid of £161.9m - a Spanish record transfer fee - to sign Pogba before the transfer window shuts.
United are determined to keep Pogba, whose contract at Old Trafford expires in 2021.
Solskjaer, who has a good relationship with the midfielder, is reportedly confident of convincing his talisman to stay put during the club's pre-season tour of Australia, Singapore and China.
