Real Madrid have reportedly offered Gareth Bale to Manchester United as part of a bid for Paul Pogba, but the Red Devils are not interested in a swap deal involving the Welshman.
Bale was strongly linked with a move away from the Bernabeu over the summer but ultimately remained in the Spanish capital and has been a regular during the 2019-20 campaign.
Pogba, meanwhile, was heavily tipped to join Los Blancos ahead of the current season, but Zinedine Zidane's side were unable to settle on a transfer fee with the 20-time English champions.
According to El Desmarque, Madrid offered the Red Devils the chance to sign Bale as part of a move for Pogba, although United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer quickly rejected the proposition.
The 2018 World Cup winner has returned from an ankle injury to feature in his English side's last two Premier League matches against Watford and Newcastle United.
The midfielder's long-term future at Old Trafford remains unclear, though, and Juventus also continue to be linked with a move for the France international.
