Real Madrid are reportedly plotting moves for both Erling Braut Haaland and Kylian Mbappe next summer.
Paris Saint-Germain allegedly received a mammoth offer of £197m from Real Madrid for Mbappe on deadline day, but Les Parisiens stalled over the approach and the striker remains in the French capital.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have managed to keep hold of the highly sought-after Haaland for at least one more season, although his £68m release clause will become active next year.
According to Marca, both Mbappe and Haaland are on Real Madrid's wishlist for next summer, with the former expected to negotiate a pre-contract agreement in January before joining on a free transfer.
The report adds that there has also been "positive" communication with Haaland, who is said to be excited at the prospect of playing at the Bernabeu as Real prepare to enter an intense battle for his services.
However, Manchester United are rumoured to have made Haaland their top target for summer 2022, while a separate report has indicated that Manchester City are at the head of the queue for the Norwegian.
