Real Madrid have reportedly made a new effort to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United, with Gareth Bale again being offered in part-exchange.
Zinedine Zidane is known to be an admirer of Pogba, although it has recently been claimed that Real were against meeting United's valuation of the France international.
The Spanish giants remain keen to offload Bale, however, with Zidane having decided that the Welshman does not feature in his plans going forward.
According to The Mirror, that has resulted in Real providing United with another opportunity to negotiate a swap deal involving the two stars.
Bale has always maintained that he is prepared to stay at the Bernabeu unless any interested club are prepared to meet his lucrative wage packet.
Meanwhile, Real announced on Friday that they have agreed a deal with Chelsea for winger Eden Hazard.
