Report: Atletico Madrid ready to sell Miranda

A report claims that Atletico Madrid could sell Brazilian centre-back Miranda in January.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly prepared to part with Brazilian defender Miranda in the January transfer window.

Over the last couple of seasons, the centre-back has formed a stunning partnership with Diego Godin, with the duo a key part of Atletico's success last season.

Miranda's form in the 2013-14 campaign led to reported summer interest from Manchester United and Barcelona, but Atletico rejected such talk.

According to ABC, however, the emergence of Jose Gimenez at has altered the situation and Atletico are now ready to part with Miranda.

Man United are said to lead the race for the Brazilian international.
