Real Madrid reportedly intend to pursue Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba right until transfer deadline day.
The French midfielder admitted last month that he is open to a move away from Old Trafford, three years after returning to the club in an £89m transfer.
Pogba has endured a few up-and-down campaigns since rejoining from Juventus, who are one of two clubs in the running to land his signature this summer, along with Spanish giants Madrid.
Los Blancos have so far been unable to persuade United to lower their £150m asking price, but AS claims that they are refusing to give up and will not go away until the window closes for foreign sides on September 2.
Madrid are said to be confident that they are the only side realistically in the hunt for Pogba, as they do not expect Juventus to enter a bidding war.
