Report: Man Utd keeping tabs on Brooks, King

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing up David Brooks and Joshua King as they seek out cheaper attacking alternatives ahead of the summer window.

Bournemouth pair David Brooks and Joshua King are being eyed up by Manchester United, according to a report.

The Red Devils are expected to strengthen their attack this season and have already been linked with the likes of Erling Braut Haaland and Jadon Sancho.

However, the coronavirus crisis has had a big impact on United's finances and they may instead be forced to find cheaper alternatives.

The Manchester Evening News claims that Brooks and King are now on their transfer radar ahead of the summer window.

King spent five years at United without making a senior league appearance, but he revived his career with Blackburn Rovers and has scored 46 Premier League goals since joining Bournemouth in 2015.

Brooks spent 10 years in Manchester City's academy setup before making a breakthrough with Sheffield United in 2017, meanwhile, but it is with the Cherries that he has truly come of age.

The Wales international scored and assisted a combined 12 top-flight goals last season, though he has not featured so far this term due to a long-term ankle injury.
