Sevilla have reportedly emerged as surprise suitors for Colombian forward Radamel Falcao.
The 29-year-old is currently on loan at Manchester United from Monaco, but he has really struggled to make his mark in England – scoring just four times in 28 games during a disappointing spell.
A recent report has claimed that Falcao will be available for a cut-price fee this summer due to Monaco breaking Financial Fair Play rules.
Manchester United are still said to be stalling over a decision and according to El Gol Digital, Sevilla are preparing to make an official offer.
Sevilla have two chances to make next season's Champions League – via their league position and via the Europa League – and Falcao is said to be keen on a return to Spain, where he scored 70 times in 91 games for Atletico Madrid between 2011 and 2013.
