Valencia are reportedly interested in signing Colombian forward Radamel Falcao at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old is currently on a season-long loan at Manchester United from AS Monaco, but the striker has struggled to make an impact in England.
The former Atletico Madrid and Porto attacker has netted just four times for the Premier League club, who have the option to make the move permanent for £43m at the end of the season.
It is understood that United are leaning against signing Falcao due to his struggles, however, and according to The Sun, Valencia are waiting in the wings.
Los Che have the financial clout to sign the Colombian due to their backing from Singaporean businessman Peter Lim. The signing would also demonstrate Valencia's intent to push Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid as the top three clubs in Spain.
