Roma have reportedly moved ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign Ajax forward Justin Kluivert.
Throughout the season, Kluivert has been linked with a transfer to a European giant, and United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on bringing in the Dutch youngster.
However, according to VI.nl, Roma have emerged as favourites to secure a deal for the 19-year-old during the summer transfer window.
Kluivert and father Patrick are said to prefer the player to continue his development with Ajax, where he has scored 10 goals in 30 top-flight matches during the current campaign.
Just a year remains on Kluivert's contract, however, leaving Ajax in a position where they must agree new terms or sell the attacker ahead of next season.
