Struggling attacker Alexis Sanchez will refuse to leave Manchester United at the end of the season, according to a report.

Alexis Sanchez will reportedly refuse to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

Sanchez joined United on a free transfer from Arsenal in January 2018.

The 30-year-old had been one of the best players in the Premier League during his time with the Gunners but has struggled badly in Manchester, scoring just five times in 41 appearances.

Sanchez, who is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury, has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford as the 20-time English champions look ahead to the 2019-2020 campaign.

However, according to The Express, Sanchez is more than prepared to sit on his £500,000-a-week wage packet at United, with the Chile international having no plans to depart the club in this summer's transfer window.

The forward has contributed just one goal in 17 Premier League appearances this season.
