Manchester United are 'progressing to the final stages of negotiation' over a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are believed to be planning for life with the England international despite not yet reaching an agreement with BVB when it comes to a transfer fee.
According to Romano, the former Manchester City youngster has 'never been so close' to joining the 20-time English champions, who were strongly linked with his services last summer.
The journalist claims that further talks between Man United and Dortmund have seen the deal move closer, and an announcement is not thought to be too far away.
Sancho, who is currently representing England at this summer's European Championship, is already thought to have agreed personal terms on a five-year deal at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign for his Bundesliga club, scoring 16 times and contributing 20 assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.
