Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is reportedly set to complete a permanent move to Napoli.
The 27-year-old spent the majority of the summer at Euro 2024 in Germany, where Steve Clarke's Scotland were gunning for continental glory.
Losing their opening match of the tournament 5-1 to hosts Germany, it never appeared likely that the Tartan Army would advance into the knockout stages, and that proved to be the case.
Despite disappointment on the international stage, McTominay still enjoyed a productive individual season during 2023-24, scoring 10 goals across all competitions for Man United.
Since graduating from the Red Devils' academy in 2017, the 52-time international has made 255 appearances for the Premier League heavyweights, scoring on 29 occasions.

Man United's McTominay set for Napoli medical?
According to The Athletic, Man United midfielder McTominay is moving closer towards an exit from the Theatre of Dreams at the end of the summer window.
The report claims that the Red Devils and the Italian outfit have agreed a £25.4m deal for the 27-year-old, who has only ever played for United in professional club football.
It is understood that McTominay and Napoli must now agree on suitable personal terms for the player before a transfer to Serie A is confirmed.
With the deal reaching the advanced stages, it is believed that the Scotsman will now travel out to Italy, where he will first complete medical tests.
Due to McTominay's contributions to Erik ten Hag's side last season, Man United are reluctant to lose the midfielder but cannot guarantee him a spot in the starting XI at Old Trafford.

Premier League interest for McTominay
With a move to Serie A challengers Napoli appearing likely, McTominay is set to retain the ability to contend for major honours in club football.
That luxury could have been taken away from him if the 27-year-old had signed for Fulham, who were very keen on the midfielder earlier in the window.
It is said that the Cottagers submitted a £20m bid for the services of McTominay, although the Red Devils quickly dismissed the advances of the Londoners.
Supposedly joining from Paris Saint-Germain, Manuel Ugarte is preparing to be the Scotsman's replacement at the Theatre of Dreams, with the Uruguayan set to be registered in time to face Liverpool in the Premier League next month.
