The future of Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder will be decided in the next two days as the playmaker bids to secure a move to Manchester United.
The Dutch midfielder was expected to hold preliminary talks with United on Thursday after Holland's friendly with England, but the match was postponed due to the riots.
The talks are now expected to be moved forward and the 27-year-old will speak to Inter today in an attempt to speed up the deal.
United are understood to have agreed a fee in the region of £32m for Sneijder, who earlier this week said that he believed he was for sale.
However, the player's current wages of £250,000 a week could prove a stumbling block to a move.
United's wage cap is currently £180,000 per week but they are confident of sealing a deal by offering additional bonuses, including a significant image rights-related deal.
