Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hints at talks over Paul Pogba future

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly open to discussions with Paul Pogba regarding the midfielder's future at Old Trafford.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has indicated that talks will soon take place regarding the future of midfielder Paul Pogba.

The 26-year-old, who has been sidelined since December with an ankle injury, has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks.

January signing Bruno Fernandes has quickly settled into the Premier League since his move from Sporting Lisbon, registering two goals and three assists in five Premier League appearances, meaning that Pogba may struggle for consistent first-team football once fit again.

Speaking to Norwegian outlet TV2, Solskjaer has said that discussions with the France international could be set to take place soon.

"So much is being said and written about Paul, so all such discussions we take behind the club's walls," he explained.

"I'm sure Paul's desperate to play for us again. Paul knows he has to work hard to get back to his best. He has been out now for so long now, it's a challenge to get back into shape."

Pogba has made 143 appearances for United since rejoining from Juventus in 2016, scoring 31 goals in that time.
