Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly discussed the club's interest in Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho with Marcus Rashford.
The two players are believed to be close friends, and Rashford recently revealed that he wanted to team up with his England colleague at club level.
United continue to be linked with Sancho, although Dortmund are said to be demanding £115m for the 20-year-old, which could prove problematic in the current climate.
According to the Evening Standard, Solskjaer 'makes a point' of discussing targets with certain players, and the Red Devils boss has spoken to Rashford about a potential move for Sancho.
The former Manchester City youngster has been in terrific form for Lucien Favre's side this season, scoring 20 goals and contributing 20 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.
Sancho's current deal at Signal Iduna Park is due to run until June 2022.
