Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has allegedly spoken to Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho regarding a potential transfer.
While United are known admirers of the England international, the Premier League giants do not intend on splashing out £108m on the player this summer.
With three years remaining on Sancho's contract, that leaves Dortmund in a strong position as they bid to keep hold of one of their key men.
However, according to Dagbladet, Solskjaer has reassured the 20-year-old that United still plan to hold discussions with the Bundesliga side.
Although United are said to be willing to wait until the closing days of the transfer window, Dortmund are in no rush to lower their demands.
Manager Lucien Favre has recently indicated that Sancho will remain at the Westfalenstadion.
