Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have a £75m January transfer budget, according to a report.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will reportedly have £75m to spend on new signings when the January transfer window opens for business.

The Red Devils spent close to £150m during the summer to bring Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Daniel James and Harry Maguire to the club ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

United failed to replace the outgoing Romelu Lukaku, though, while a new central midfielder did not arrive despite widespread speculation surrounding the likes of Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes and Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff.

According to The Sun, however, Solskjaer will be handed the £75m raised from the sale of Lukaku to Inter Milan if he wishes to bolster his squad at the mid-point of the 2019-20 campaign.

The 20-time English champions have taken four points from their first two Premier League games of the new season, following a 4-0 win over Chelsea with a 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Next up for United is a home game against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, before travelling to Southampton in their final match before the September international break.
