Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will reportedly make a decision on Diogo Dalot's future at Old Trafford at the end of the club's preparations for the 2021-22 campaign.
The 22-year-old was allowed to join AC Milan on loan last summer and has been a regular for the Italian club this season, making 25 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals and two assists.
Milan are thought to be keen to sign the Portuguese on a permanent deal in the upcoming market, but according to Calciomercato, the right-back will head back to Old Trafford this summer.
The report claims that Solskjaer wants Dalot to be a part of the team's 'whole summer training camp' ahead of next season, and the Norwegian will then make a decision on the defender before the campaign begins.
Milan are allegedly aware of Man United's plans and are therefore currently identifying possible alternatives to the former Porto youngster in the event that he remains with the Red Devils.
Dalot has made 35 appearances for the 20-time English champions in all competitions.
