Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti has warned Manchester United that they have a battle on their hands luring Ivan Perisic away from the club.
United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly been left unhappy by his side's failed pursuit of the 28-year-old during the summer - one of his top targets at the time.
Rumours of a forthcoming bid being tabled refuse to go away, but Spalletti has reiterated that Perisic remains contracted to Inter until 2022, having only recently put pen to paper.
"We'll act in perfect harmony with what the needs of Inter are. The players under contract here are our players," he told Premium Sport.
"The Chinese ownership has the results of the team at the heart of things, they're bringing consistency to the history of Inter because they have the expertise and the will to contribute to improving everything at the club."
Croatia international Perisic has seven goals and six assists to his name in Serie A this season.
