Sunderland have reportedly decided to continue their pursuit of Manchester United's attacking midfielder Adnan Januzaj as they bid to improve the current squad before the end of the transfer window.
The Black Cats have been linked with a move for the 20-year-old, who dropped down the pecking order in Louis van Gaal's first season in charge after breaking into the side under David Moyes.
Recent reports have suggested that Dick Advocaat's side are looking to sign Januzaj on a season-long loan, and the Sunderland Echo claims they will look to seal the deal when Pedro completes his move to United.
Pedro is believed to closing in on a switch to Old Trafford after requesting to leave Barcelona, which would mean there would be even fewer chances on offer to Januzaj.
Everton were also rumoured to be interested in signing Januzaj this summer.
