Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen to bring Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni to Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.
The Ajax manager is believed to have agreed a deal to become Man United's new head coach, with an announcement expected to arrive before the end of the campaign.
Ten Hag is set to be heavily involved in the club's summer transfer activity, and according to ESPN, Tchouameni has emerged as a leading target for the 20-time English champions.
The report claims that Ten Hag is impressed by the France international's ability to play in a number of different midfield roles and wants him to become a key player for the Red Devils next term.
The 22-year-old, who has also been linked with Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, is expected to be available for between €60m (£49.6m) and €70m (£57.9m) in the upcoming market.
Tchouameni has enjoyed an impressive campaign for his Ligue 1 club, making 44 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and two assists in the process.
Paul Pogba is widely expected to leave Man United on a free transfer this summer, while there remains uncertainty surrounding Donny van de Beek's future.
