Leicester City reportedly edged out Manchester United in order to complete the signing of Youri Tielemans.
After starring for the Foxes during a loan spell from Monaco earlier this year, Tielemans has now agreed to move to the East Midlands outfit on a permanent basis.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Tielemans sped up the process by instructing his agent to finalise negotiations at the earliest opportunity.
The report suggests that the player's representative was prepared to wait on potential offers elsewhere due to previous interest from United, who are currently contemplating whether to sell fellow playmaker Paul Pogba.
The Belgium international was seemingly focused on rejoining Leicester, however, as a result of the club's ambitions to break into the Premier League top six.
The 22-year-old has penned a four-year contract at the King Power Stadium.
