The top clubs in Manchester are said to be holding talks over the potential signing of Barcelona right-back Aleix Vidal.
The 28-year-old currently finds himself third in the pecking order behind Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo at Camp Nou, prompting his agent to look around for a new club this month.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Vidal's representatives have held talks with Premier League sides in "Manchester and Liverpool", although the report fails to specify which of the four clubs are interested in the player.
The Reds have previously been credited with interest in the Spaniard, who is likely to command only a modest transfer fee following Philippe Coutinho's £142m switch to the Catalan giants earlier this month.
Vidal has been with Barca since 2015, having joined in a £15m deal from Sevilla, and has made 10 La Liga appearances - just three of them starts - for Ernesto Valverde's side so far this season.
