Thomas Tuchel will reportedly have the final say over whether Chelsea move for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Braut Haaland or Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku this summer.
The Blues are in the market for a new striker to lead their line for the 2021-22 campaign, when they will be expected to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
Tuchel has guided Chelsea to the FA Cup and Champions League finals in his first half-season in charge, but the West London side still have issues in terms of profligacy.
Haaland and Lukaku, who have scored 41 and 28 goals in all competitions respectively this season, are rumoured to have been targeted to solve that problem.
According to The Sun, Chelsea have £150m to spend in the upcoming transfer window, meaning that they can afford to move for one of the two players.
The report suggests that Tuchel must decide whether to focus on signing Haaland or Lukaku, the latter of whom has previously spent three years on Chelsea's books without getting a serious look in.
Chelsea will face competition from fellow heavyweight clubs for both players, though, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Man City among those to have shown an interest in Haaland.
