Manchester United have reportedly moved into pole position to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Memphis Depay this summer.
Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be interested in the 21-year-old, and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is even said to have watched the Netherlands international in action last month.
However, The Mirror claims that United are now leading the chase for Depay, who played under Louis van Gaal at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Sources close to the player are thought to have indicated that a move to Old Trafford is Depay's preferred option at the end of the current campaign.
Depay has scored 21 goals in 31 appearances for club and country this season.
