Real Madrid will reportedly give Manchester United the opportunity to sign Gareth Bale or Isco as part of a player-plus-cash deal that would see Paul Pogba head the opposite way.
The 26-year-old hinted at the weekend that the time is right to find a new club following three mixed seasons at Old Trafford.
Pogba has made no secret of his desire to play for Zinedine Zidane and the Madrid boss is a big fan of his compatriot.
United are reluctant to sell one of their prized assets but, according to The Sun, they may yet be tempted into doing business before the end of the transfer window.
The report indicates that Madrid are keen to offload a number of players and two of them, Bale and Isco, have been offered to the Red Devils as a makeweight.
Juventus are also believed to be in the running to sign their former player, whom they sold to United for £89m in 2016.
