Manchester United plan double swoop for Arturo Vidal, Angelo Ogbonna?

Manchester United could look to make a £51m double swoop for Juventus pair Arturo Vidal and Angelo Ogbonna in January, according to a report in the press.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal could reportedly look to bolster his squad with a bid for Juventus pair Arturo Vidal and Angelo Ogbonna in January.

According to Calcio Mercato, United will offer £51m imminently in order to agree a deal in principle that would see both players arrive on January 1.

United's pursuit of box-to-box midfielder Vidal has been long running, while their interest in centre-back Ogbonna is thought to be influenced by his reputation for being physical in defence.

United currently occupy seventh spot in the Premier League table on eight points.
