Senior members of Manchester United's squad are reportedly desperate for new manager David Moyes to make a decision on Wayne Rooney's future.
The England international striker has been persistently linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the past few months, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain among the sides reported to be monitoring his situation.
Moyes insisted that Rooney is not for sale in his first press conference as United boss earlier this week, but according to The Mirror, a number of his players are worried that the speculation will damage their pre-season preparations.
The 27-year-old striker has two years left on his United contract, with rumours persistent over his future despite a return to pre-season training with the Premier League champions on Thursday.
