Lyon owner Jean-Michel Aulas has reportedly told Manchester United that they can sign striker Alexandre Lacazette for £22m.
The 23-year-old has scored 29 goals in 33 games for the Ligue 1 side so far this season, and has been linked with a move to some of Europe's biggest clubs.
However, French magazine Le 10 Sport reports that United are best placed to get him, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.
The Red Devils are expected to spend significant money in the transfer market, and a striker is believed to be a priority.
They opened their cheque book for the first time yesterday, by agreeing a deal to sign Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven.
