Manchester United are reportedly interested in taking Chelsea defender David Luiz on loan for the rest of the season in a bid to find cover for the injured Eric Bailly.
Bailly, who suffered an ankle injury, has not featured for the Red Devils since the start of November, and the Daily Star says that Jose Mourinho could plot a move for out-of-favour Luiz.
The Brazilian, who has fallen down Antonio Conte's pecking order at Chelsea, was in the Blues squad for the first time since November 22 in the FA Cup draw with Norwich City on Saturday.
Ivory Coast international Bailly was forced to undergo ankle surgery and is expected to spend the next two to three months on the sidelines.
Talk of a move for Luiz could be far-fetched, however, due to Mourinho having Phil Jones, Chris Smalling Victor Lindelof and Marcos Rojo available for selection.
