Manchester United have reportedly rejected the opportunity to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain as part of a swap deal involving Paul Pogba.
Pogba admitted for the first time earlier this month that he is considering a move away from United this summer, while Neymar is rumoured to be angling for a way out of the French capital.
According to The Independent, PSG have attempted to find a solution to the impasse by approaching the Red Devils regarding a straight swap.
However, United knocked back the proposal as they feel it would be too difficult to justify Neymar's wage, which is an astronomical £900,000 a week with various add-ons included.
The report indicates that the deal is not completely dead, but the Brazilian forward looks more likely to be on his way back to Barcelona at this point.
