Manchester United's Victor Valdes "working hard for this season"

Despite his omission from the club's pre-season tour, Victor Valdes indicates that he is preparing for the season ahead with Manchester United.

Victor Valdes has hinted that he will remain a Manchester United player at the end of the summer transfer window.

The goalkeeper was omitted from the squad that jetted off to the USA yesterday for the club's pre-season tour, which had resulted in speculation that his days at Old Trafford were numbered.

However, the 33-year-old has insisted that he has been "working hard" to be ready for the start of the season with the Red Devils.

Former Barcelona keeper Valdes joined United on an 18-month contract last January. ID:233442: cacheID:233442:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1447:
