Arturo Vidal plays down Barcelona, Real Madrid rumours

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal plays down interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has branded rumours linking him with moves to Spanish pair Real Madrid and Barcelona "ridiculous".

The Chilean international is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in European football, with a number of clubs believes to be interested in his services.

The 26-year-old recently signed a new deal in Turin until 2017, however, and has claimed that his focus is solely on his current team.

When questioned on the interest from the Spanish pair by reporters, Vidal called the rumours "ridiculous" before stating: "I haven't thought about it. I want to win the title with Juventus and have a good World Cup."

Manchester United are also believed to be strongly interested in his services.
