Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana admits that Chelsea and Manchester United are two of his "dream" clubs amid speculation surrounding his next career move.

Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana has admitted that it would be a "dream" to play for Manchester United or Chelsea.

The former Saint-Etienne man played a starring role in the Foxes' 2020-21 Premier League season but is currently on the road to recovery following a fibula fracture sustained in pre-season.

Fofana continues to be linked with a host of top clubs despite his lengthy layoff, and the 20-year-old has revealed that Chelsea and Man United - two sides credited with an interest - are on his list of dream clubs.

Speaking to Actufoot, Fofana said: "A club that makes me dream? There's Marseille, Real Madrid, Barcelona. In the Premier League, there are Chelsea, United, City, but you have to work to make your dreams come true. Through work, you can achieve anything."

Chelsea are reportedly in front of Man United in the race for Fofana's services, with the centre-back's deal at Leicester not due to expire until the summer of 2025.

Fofana played 38 games in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers's side last season and started 27 matches in the Premier League.
