Yohan Cabaye aware of interest

Yohan Cabaye has admitted that he is aware of speculation linking him with other clubs.

The French midfielder has long been regarded as a transfer target for Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

However, despite acknowledging that the rumours exist, the 26-year-old has insisted that he will leave his agent to deal with it.

"There are rumours. I am following it a little," he told France Football. "But I have four years remaining on my contract with Newcastle.

"Today I don't want to know anything. That is what agents are for."

Cabaye joined the Magpies last summer from Lille.
