Marseille coach Elie Baup has admitted that his side struggled to win against Troyes in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The former French champions had to come from behind to win 2-1 at Stade Velodrome, Nicolas N´Koulou and Andre Pierre Gignac scoring in the last 10 minutes for the hosts.
"Nothing comes easy to us this season," Baup told reporters. "We had two chances in the first half that we should have stuck away. The goal we conceded was avoidable.
"If we don't find the back of the net, then the league season will continue to be complicated for us. [Modou] Sougou brought us his pace and ability to get in behind. We're waiting for him to be physically ready to start a game and he's not far away.
"I hesitated before leaving him on the bench for this one. We got the three points and for now we're not going to think about next week's game at Lyon. My players are mentally strong and resourceful, and I knew that."
Marseille are currently third in Ligue 1 with 49 points from 27 matches.
