Michel: 'Lucas Silva ready for Paris Saint-Germain clash'

Michel claims that Lucas Silva is ready to deliver big performances for Marseille.

Marseille manager Michel has suggested that Lucas Silva is ready to rise to the challenge of facing Paris-Saint Germain on Sunday.

OM travel to the Parc des Princes on the back of taking only two victories in eight Ligue 1 games this season.

However, Michel is confident that the Real Madrid loanee is capable of delivering big performances for Les Olympiens.

He is quoted by Ligue 1.com as saying: "I think Lucas is capable of playing a variety of roles in midfield.

"He's a very young player, but he's already experienced a lot. He has an impressive football background and I think he just needed a change of scenery. He's come from Real Madrid, and he's ready."

Silva made only four appearances for Real last season.
