Valencia have reportedly targeted Marseille boss Didier Deschamps as the man to take charge at the club next season.
The contract of current Mestalla boss Unai Emery expires in the summer, and a source close to the club has admitted that the former Juventus coach is in the frame.
"We are interested in Didier Deschamps and his agent knows it. For next year, it is a reasonable possibility, bit nothing is done," said the source.
Deschamps, 43, has also been linked with the managerial position at Chelsea.
