Marseille coach Elie Baup hints that Loic Remy will not be leaving the club in January amid reported interest from Newcastle and QPR.

Marseille coach Eli Baup has claimed that Loic Remy could yet stay with the Ligue 1 club this season.

The 26-year-old striker has been linked with moves to both Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers in recent weeks.

"For a year, every transfer window, we have been talking about his departure," Baup told La Provence. "But he is still there. Maybe he still will be in the summer."

Remy has scored three goals in 19 appearances for Marseille this season.
