Marseille coach Elie Baup has revealed that he does not know if Joey Barton will remain with the club for next season.
The midfielder, who spent the last campaign on loan from Queens Park Rangers, recently claimed that he was 'none the wiser' with regards to where he will be playing come August.
"Joey Barton's comeback? I do not know how it will evolve," Baup told L'Equipe. "The club and the player agreed about the challenge ahead, but he still belongs to QPR."
Barton arrived at Loftus Road on a free transfer from Newcastle United in 2011.
