Marseille have reportedly contacted Guingamp in an attempt to sign striker Claudio Beauvue.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Ligue 1, with Hull City and Tottenham Hotspur believed to have made recent enquiries.
According to L'Equipe, however, OM representatives have met with Guingamp to try to agree a deal for the frontman.
It is thought that Beauvue would prefer a move to the Premier League and is holding out for a deal with an English club.
However, Beauvue is said to have not completely ruled out a move to the Stade Velodrome, with OM reported to have offered a three-year deal.
