An own goal from Scott Galloway in the 90th minute gave Adelaide United a 1-0 triumph over Melbourne Victory in their A-League clash at AAMI Park on Friday.
Adelaide have stretched their unbeaten run to 12 matches, while Victory are struggling to successfully defend their title.
The club have won just eight of their 21 games this season and they currently sit fourth in the standings, five points adrift of leaders Brisbane Roar.

The home side came close to making an early breakthrough in the fourth minute when Leigh Broxham moved to the edge of the box before unleashing a powerful shot at goal.
The attempt was saved by Eugene Galekovic and a few minutes later, the ball was at the other end of the pitch for an Adelaide free kick.
The set piece resulted in Danny Vukovic stopping Isaias's effort, but there were some nervy moments for Victory when the rebound fell to Craig Goodwin's feet, but the defender's shot went wide.
The game was even in terms of attacking threat, but the final touch was missing, which was demonstrated by Broxham when his long-range shot fizzed past the post.
After the half-time break, Gui Finkler came close to breaking the deadlock for the home side when he took a free kick, but his attempt at goal clattered off the crossbar.
Fahid Ben Khalfallah went for glory when he attempted a scissor kick in the box, but it was a poor effort from the Victory forward as the ball was way off target.
As the clock ticked down, it looked as though the game would end goalless but Kamau stepped up in the 90th minute with a side-footed shot, which took a big deflection off Galloway before heading into the net.
